Aloha Friday

Friday, April 17, 2009

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and be sure to visit An Island Life to see more participants.

My question is: What's you motivation for blogging/reading blogs? Do you do it to connect with others socially? Professionally? Just to have some time to yourself? For creative expression? To make money? Gimme the scoop on what keeps you traveling the blogosphere.

Have a great weekend!

Hmm... I have a lot of reasons. Time to myself. Catch up with friends. Find resources (you're awesome with that!!)... A lot of the blogs I read have more of a spiritual undertone, so they're very uplifting.

As for my own blog, it's just a bit of everything!

Wow. What a great question. I'd have to admit that I blog for nearly all of those reasons. However, having the creative outlet is the frontrunner. I blog as a means to document my life and family, but try to put forth creativity in doing so.

I mostly do it for the adult interaction! Throw in a little need for a creative outlet, and there ya have it!

I like to read blogs to find new information, to learn something and to meet others.

Mostly the social thing. I really do live in the boondocks & while I have neighbors people tend to live out here because they want to be alone. Not me! I just moved here for the school.
