I am a homeschooling stay at home mom of 4 fabulous little people. My ds, 9 is an energetic, creative wild man who has bravely embarked on this homeschooling journey with me. Along for the ride are dd, 6, and ds 4 and our new baby girl, born August 2010. I have been married to a wonderfully supportive, handsome guy for 10 years. He's the one that makes all of our adventures possible. Our four-legged family member, Bella, is a floppy-eared great dane. We are a military family living in coastal VA.
We are eclectic in our learning style. We are enjoying our journey together and look forward to new adventures and sharing them here.
My Photography: I have always been interested in photography, but have a new found passion for seeing life through a lens. I recently took my DSLR off of automatic (July 2010) and have been immersed in tutorials and practice for the past few months. Bit by bit I can see my work improving. I'm having the time of my life learning new things and reveling in the creative expression.
My gear: I shoot with a Nikon D5000 and often opt for my 55-300 mm lens over the other kit 18-55mm lens I own. I also use the Nikon SB700 Speedlight and a set of macro filters.
