Rolling into another weekend! Where the heck has April gone? It has been a busy month of birthday celebrations, work, Girl Scout camp, schooling... it flew by! I hope May takes a more leisurely approach to passing. I'm not quite ready for summer. I'd also love for the spring blooms to keep hanging on. We still have lots of dogwood flowers and azaleas to enjoy. The pink cherry trees have shed their petals in the rain & wind. They are mostly green now. But the dogwoods are putting up a good fight this year. This week I have pink dogwood images to share.

I'm shooting an elopement Friday morning, a family session Saturday and a wedding on Monday, so the next few days will be full. I'll be traveling to Colonial Williamsburg and I can't wait to see how the gardens look up there. Maybe I'll have more flowers to show next week...or maybe some actual photos of my family, ha ha. Maybe... What's on your agenda this weekend?

Happy weekend all! I hope your week has been awesome. I shot a wedding on Saturday, so that pretty much wiped me out for the weekend. Other than that, we've just been plugging away at school to finish out the year, and work has picked up for me so you know, work.

We've had some chillier than usual days, but I am still enjoying the spring blooms. Hence, more freelensed flower photos for your this week. Sorry if I'm boring you, I just love them so. Up this week: pink cherries and more dogwoods. :)

How was your week? Please link up your posts and have a great weekend!

Yip yip, it's Friday! Don't know why I'm so excited because weekends off are a thing of the past for me, but the weather is warming, the flowers are blooming and I'm feeling inspired by all the lovely changes unfolding. Last week I gave you dogwoods, this week: cherry blossoms and wisteria. :)

Last weekend we had an awesome visit with my MIL and nephews. They came up from North Carolina to help celebrate my son's 16th birthday. (Still can't believe it has been 16 years since I became a mom.) We took the kids to the Virginia Air and Space Museum in Hampton and had a great time exploring.

What have you been up to?

Happy weekend all! I have a busy schedule at the moment, but wanted to get a quick post up before I dig into the weekend whirlwind. Lots of family business and work to tend to.
This week was our spring break, and while we didn't vacation, or do anything terribly exciting, we did enjoy the first burst of spring! The temps have been up and down, but we've had a day or two in the 70s, which has been lovely.

This week's photos are all of flowers in our yard, mostly freelensed with an old manual Helios film lens.

Has spring begun where you are?
Please link up your posts from the week and have a fantastic weekend!
