Happy Friday all! Another week in 2019 gone already... I do wish time would slow down a bit. I'm happy to see spring on the horizon, but the days with my kiddos just seem to fly by, especially when work gets busy.

This week we had some warmer weather, so the kids did spend a bit of time outdoors. Lots of trampoline jumping and neighborhood friends in the yard. I love those kinds of days! We also had co-op, our troop's Girl Scouts World Thinking Day celebration, and various appointments to keep up with. How was your week?

Hi friends! Happy Friday. Once again, I am so sorry this post is late - barely still Friday! I'm juggling Girl Scout events, prom prep, client sessions and a wedding to prepare for tomorrow. It has been a full week and this weekend promises to be busy too.

Here is a random smattering of what our week looked like:

Puppy chow time, Girl Scout Thinking Day prep, Taco Doritos! (I don't usually buy Doritos but I couldn't resist the trip down memory lane), shopping for shoes for the dance, our resident gamers, first blooms, and kicking it old school with the Wii.

How was your week? Link up below and let me know.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have an awesome weekend!

Happy weekend all! Can you believe it's March already? Work is picking back up for me and I've been terrible about keeping up with family photos. I had the best intentions at the beginning of the year, but I'm failing on the home front, as usual. We've also been busy with extra-curricular activities and the everyday whirlwind of life for a family of 6 (aka endless piles of laundry, trip after trip to the grocery store, chauffeuring to and fro, etc. etc.). I have only some dog photos to share this week, and they are lazy iPhone pics at that. But that's all there is.

I'm starting to see blooms already this year! Spring is coming early, perhaps. The forsythia, daffodils, hyacinths and even the Bradford pears are in bloom. The tulip trees are budding up too! So, if we can get rid of the dreary gray skies and soggy rain, I'll be motivated to go out and take some nature photos at least.

Happy weekend friends! Sorry for the late post. The week got away from me. School, work, and family life have been full this week. Hard to believe we're planning for spring dances, yearbooks and the end of the year already. The weather has continued on the mild trend, and peeks of spring are popping out - the forsythia and daffodils are beginning to bloom. I don't think we're really going to have a winter this year.

I don't have any exciting pics to share. Just some phone photos of my middles goofing off and a foggy morning earlier this week. I hope you had a fantastic week! Have you had wintry weather this year?

Happy Friday friends! This week I feel like I drove all over town. We had babysitting jobs, co-op, play dates, book club, a banquet, dress shopping for the school dance, and about 8 trips to the grocery store. We got lucky with the weather though. Most days it felt like spring, with temps near 70! We'll be back to winter this weekend though, whomp, whomp.
Here's a hodgepodge of images from the week:

Happy Friday friends! Hard to believe February is already here, but here we are. I have nothing terribly exciting to report for the week. We're selling Girl Scout cookies, keeping up with schooling and co-op and I've had a couple of sessions, but it's been pretty quiet most of the week.

I'm afraid I don't have much in the way of photos this week. Nothing but the dog days of winter...

Happy weekend friends! Last week brought lots of family visitors. My sister and niece came for a visit, and my Mother-in-Law as well. It was fun to catch up and spend some time with them!

My older daughter was in a play put on by our homeschool cooperative, and the performance was Saturday. That was tons of fun as well. The play was, The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet, a comedy of course, and they did a great job with it. Everyone in the audience was laughing all the way through. I'm so proud of her for getting out there and trying something new. It was exciting to watch!

I didn't take a ton of photos this week. Just a few of the roses brightening up our winter days, and a few from the play, which was difficult to get good shots of from our seats.

Happy Friday friends! I hope you've had a great week. We are finally on the tail end of this icky virus everyone has had. We really didn't venture out much over the past week, other than to the doctor and runs to the pharmacy. But, this weekend we are looking forward to a visit from my Mother-in-Law, and my sister and niece! And, my older daughter is performing in a play with her drama group. It will be her first stage appearance, so that's pretty exciting!

I didn't take any pictures of all the ailing bodies around here this week, so I have just a few iPhone shots of a pretty blue sky, our resident sock-eater back to normal after surgery, and some little notes my daughter leaves me. I took a pic so I'd remember them - especially on days when teenage mood swings take over. ;)  How was your week?

Happy weekend all! This week we returned to our homeshool co-op for the spring semester. The kids were excited to go back. Unfortunately, we seem to have collected another virus of some sort around here, and the boys are down for the count. I'm realllly hoping it leaves us soon. They seem pretty miserable.

Hubs bought tickets to an ODU basketball game for a fun family night out. We went last weekend and it turned out to be a really exciting game! ODU was down quite a bit for a while, but they ended up pulling off the biggest comeback in the school's history to win! It was a great night.

Happy Friday friends! I hope you had a lovely New Year's celebration. We kept it low key and watched the ball drop on TV with this kids. New Year's Day, we went to my mom and stepdad's for some family fun and yummy BBQ. It was a warm day, in the upper 60's, so we enjoyed some fresh air and played corn hole for a while. What did you do to celebrate?

Last weekend, we also went to Adventure Park in Virginia Beach. Last year my mom and stepdad bought the kids ticket to the park, which features outdoor climbing and ziplining courses. Unfortunately, it took us a whole year to find a weekend when I wasn't working, the weather wasn't awful, and no one was sick. But, it was worth the wait because it was tons of fun! It was a mild day, though a wee bit chilly later in the afternoon. The kids got a great workout though so the cool air didn't bother them a bit. Hubs and I didn't climb this time, but it would be fun to go back another day and give it a go. I'm not fond of heights, but zipling through the trees might make it worthwhile.

How was your week?

All pics are iPhone. Hubs gets a little irritated when I drag my big camera everywhere. But, I've been irritated with the lack of decent family photos over the past year. I spend SO much time and energy making beautiful images for other families and couples, and I could kick myself for not making the same effort for my own family. This year, I am recommitting to at least a Project 52. My kids are growing by leaps and bounds, and I will have great photos to look back on. It's important. So, feel free to give me a tongue-lashing if you find I've slid back into only phone photos this year! I thank you in advance. :)
