After a nice cool start to summer, the heat here lately has been sweltering. The kids found a way to keep cool though...

Yay!! We used to love to play in the sprinklers during the warm days! So cute!

We used to have the exact same sprinkler when I was little. My sister and I use to jump over it all the time!

That looks like so much fun! Our pool pump is broke so we may just have to buy a sprinkler for the rest of the summer. :)

Oh, and I found your blog through Twittermoms Wordless Wednesday group. I love it so I'm following you now and can't wait to see more!

my son loves to do the same with the sprinkler. our Golden also shoves her head into the spray and drinks the water the entire time. who needs all these water toys when a sprinkler provides so much joy!?! happy WW and take care.

DO you think it would be as cute if a 40-something who shall remain nameless did that? It sure looks fun and cool - oh I need cool.

Playing in the sprinklers is the best isn't it?

Happy WW!

Always so fun playing in the sprinkler. I am almost envious for the heat. Summer here has been weird and cool. It is August and we should be miserable but instead it is cool.

Vicki, I had not even noticed the dashes, duh! lol I've been in such a rush lately. I'm glad you pointed it out. Not sure how I did that. I vaguely remember reading something about the setting in the template code somewhere, but I'd have to really dig to find it now. Maybe google photo borders in blog templates? Sorry...I'm frazzled here with a zillion and one things to do...unpacking, packing, sick kids...ugh!

That's awesome! Love that face in the first pic, lol. Hope you get some cooler temps!

Oh wow, that first picture is so cute and funny. Is he crying or laughing? My guys used to pick up the sprinkler, spray themselves and then start crying because it happened. :)

This was sooooo sweet! It took me back to that time we visited my sister in NY - incredible heat and humidity that year (or is the East Coast always like that in summer? LOL). My little boy and his cousin did the exact same thing you show in the photos. Such great memories...
