Happy weekend friends! I hope you've had a great week. Our week was rather bland - Girl Scout cookie sales, car repairs, work, school, cold germs - not much to write about. But that's okay by me. I'm trying to be better at being present and just enjoying what is. One day I know I will miss many of the routine tasks that sometimes feel like drudgery. The young (loud) voices, the dirty floors, the piles of laundry, the endless meal making for "starving" bellies... one day it will all settle into quiet memories.  So I will do my best to savor the todays, and enjoy all of these moments while I can.

My 10 year old has shown an interest in learning photography, so I've been teaching her the basics of shooting in manual. We've had fun practicing together. Fortunately, my youngest is usually a willing model. A few pics from this week:

And when she tires of the spotlight, my photography buddy steps in and indulges my affinity for dramatic light and dreamy blur:

What did your week look like?
Link up your posts below and have a beautiful weekend. Thanks for visiting!

Oh yes - it goes by so quickly & those everyday moments are definitely cherished. I love that you have one to teach the craft to - mine have zero interest in anything I could teach them :)
