Sweetness and Light

As I shuffle the kids to and fro from activities, shopping, and errands, I am always on the lookout for great shooting locations. We are fortunate to live in an area that offers a wide array of locations and scenery. From nearby farm land, to cities, beaches, parks, historic sites, you name it and it's not more than a 20 to 30 minutes away. So last week, as we headed to the library and I spotted a big field that was overgrown with weeds and wildflowers, I knew I'd have to come back for a shoot.

Here are the images I shot in that field the other day. I was pretty pleased with the outcome. Though I do wish I had waited until the sun was just a bit lower in the sky, and that the kids had been a little more patient, I am still happy I managed to get these shots in the few minutes that we were there.
