Aloha Friday!

Friday, May 20, 2011

Greetings friends! It's a beautiful day. I hope you are enjoying some sunshine where you are. It has been a mild spring here. Usually it's hot enough around here by now to have the AC on full time and to make regular visits to the beach or pool. This season weather has been quite lovely, sunny and in the 70's to low 80's with intermittent rumbling thunder storms most days. And, I am thoroughly enjoying it. We have yet to hit the beach though. It just doesn't quite feel like summer yet.

My question for this week is simply this? Beach or pool? Which do you prefer? If you're not a water person, what's your favorite summer activity?

I prefer the beach! Although I'm not a water person at all (as in I don't like to swim or get in deep water), I love to walk along the edge of the ocean, search for seashells, and lay in the sand listening to the waves.

Have a great weekend.

Definitely a pool person. I like clean water and not having seaweed, fish, or other items floating by me.

Definitely the beach - so much more relaxing and less crowded (mostly)! ;)

Have a great weekend! :)

Beaches are relaxing and pretty but, what a mess when you have kids! I have a pool in my backyard and a beach on my desktop :) Whoohoo!

I prefer the beach. More relaxing and I get less nervous with my kiddos at the beach than at a pool.

I live in Santa Barbara...and I prefer pools!

This completely depends. If I want to swim, the pool. If I want to lounge, the beach.

i like walking along the beach but sunbathing around the pool!

I like the beach. gives me coverage to be away from too many people :)

I enjoy both. Not many things are more fun or relaxing than a warm tropical beach. But If I cant' get that I am happy with a nice size pool. :-)

Well, the pool is definitely much easier, and you don't have to worry about sand!

Definitely it would be the beach. you have the beach shore to play around, the aquatic view which are the corals and fishes and the large amount of space where you can just swim all you can. Compared to a pool, your way of enjoyment is really limited.
