Aloha Friday and Happy New Year!

Friday, January 1, 2010

Aloha! Happy New Year everyone! I hope you are all having a safe and relaxing holiday. With the nausea and fatigue of early pregnancy, I didn't make it up past 10:30 last night, so I rang in the New Year with sweet dreams, lol. My 7 year old, however, managed to stay up to watch the ball drop with Dad :D

My question today is:

How do you celebrate New Years?

My girls are afraid of fireworks so they usually just play sparklers at my parents' house.

Happy New Year to you and your family! I hope it is a great one!
We went to dinner with friends last night and then came home early. None of us made it to Midnight in our house!

We were going to friends until one of my girls and my husband came down with a fever. So we hung out at home and rung in the new year with Disney Channel's New Year's celebration...I didn't even know there was such a thing. LOL
Happy new year!

We used to do the whole party thing but since Blaze or really my pregnancy with Blaze we just stay home and chill. Last night we ate cheesy mac and had ice cream. Blaze and Chris went to bed at 10:30. I blog hopped and blogged and crocheted till about 1:30 am. I only turned to watch the ball drop when they were on 8...lol.

I don't have any NYE traditions. I only started drinking and doing the late night thing when I was 22 and since then every NYE has been uneventful. Last night I was in bed and asleep before 10:30... how exciting! :) Hopefully things will get exciting one of these years, but we shall see. :)
Happy New Year!

Well, if we're invited to a party sometimes we go, but mostly we stay home, and bring the new year in with snacks & Dick Clark (and well now Ryan Seacrest too). It wasn't too thrilling last night, but Dick Clark is still there & he still looks good after all that's happened & for his age.

Not much, when I was in college, we have a party and then dance until new year, everyone stays up...not anymore after I am married and moved to America.

we celebrate Christmas.

We used to go to friends to party, but then our friends moved out of state, so we pretty much keep it low key and relaxing. Princess Nagger tried to stay awake - she crashed on the couch and I had to wake her up to watch the ball drop, but she promptly fell back asleep. ;)

Happy New Year! :)
