Project Rewind - Week 44

Monday, November 5, 2012

Happy Monday friends! It's hard to believe we're in week 44 of Project 366! I heard Christmas music on the radio this weekend. It's coming! We've had chilly temps here this week and it's feeling more like fall/winter. I am excited for the holidays this year. It's still a little early for Christmas music though!

Anyway, enough of my babbling, here's my rewind:

We made a late dash to the pumpkin patch at our neighborhood church. We were carving pumpkins on Halloween afternoon just before the trick-or-treaters showed up. Always trying to play catch up, I am!

Played with indoor shooting a bit as the weather was cold and rainy. I really need to take a class in on and off camera flash and learn to use my speed lite more productively.
Lately I'm loving the matte film look for processing.

I really didn't get many shots of Halloween night. It was dark when we headed out and the kids were all over the place bouncing from house to house. We toured the neighborhood with friends and the kids had a blast. Here's a shot of our group.

We headed into downtown Norfolk one day to explore and shop. I love this multi-level fountain and the kids thought it was so cool to cross through the middle of the flowing water. I wanted to shoot more here but they were running all over and not listening well. I did manage this shot of all four of them and hope to give it another try soon.

This little girl loves apples. And daddy put the flower in her hair.
I can't believe she actually wore it for about 5 minutes.

Saturday we went to three soccer games.
My oldest is in the advanced league tournament this season! It was chilly, but fun.

Lastly, I shot this pic of Little Miss with my iPhone. It's not a great shot, but I love that she still looks a bit like a baby here. She's growing up so fast!

That's it for this week. What have you been up to?

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great week!

yay for capturing some leftover baby! I'm kinda laughing because I can only imagine how tricky that was to try to coordinate them on the river blocks!

Your little one totally still has a baby face--so cute! Great Halloween shot of the group with cool costumes. That fountain does look fun and I can only imagine how hard it was to get the kids to stand for a second or two to take a shot.
