Happy Friday! It's beginning to feel like summer around here. I've had several beach sessions with clients this week, and the weather is pretty hot and humid. We'll be in the 90s most of the next week! Our activities over the past week have included a park day with family, a Girl Scout pool party, and a family fun day at Busch Gardens.

This weekend I have a wedding on Saturday, then I'm looking forward to a family holiday celebration, and a bit of a break from shooting next week. How's your holiday weekend shaping up?

Happy weekend all! This week went by in a blur. I had a couple of client sessions last weekend, then Mother's Day was spent with the family, exploring downtown Norfolk and the Chrysler Museum of Art. Early in the week, the girls and I were in Williamsburg with our Girl Scout troop. They spent 2 days at Great Wolf Lodge. Lots of fun adventures! I have a few iPhone snaps to share, and a few from an impromptu photo session with my youngest.

Hey friends! Happy Friday to you! I hope all is well. This week was not terribly eventful for us. Just the usual work, school, and kid's activities. I did take my girls strawberry picking one afternoon and we got some delicious berries! We've been enjoying berry dishes all week.

Hey friends! Happy weekend to you! I thought this week might slow down a little without having our regular co-op schedule, but that was not the case. I don't know where the days went?? Last weekend was packed full with a wedding, my grandmother's birthday celebration, a family session, the kids' variety show and out of town visitors. Today I'm sharing a few shots from the variety show. I wish I had taken more, but I didn't want to be "that" mom with her big camera all over the place.

Happy Friday all! I'll keep this short and sweet as I have a busy weekend ahead. A Friday wedding, Saturday celebration for my grandmother's 104th birthday, and our kiddos' end of the year Co-op variety show, plus family in town, and a maternity session Sunday. Soooo, I'm juggling several things.

This week was fun - lots of end of the school year excitement, lots of lovely warm weather for bikes rides, walks, planting flowers, and sprinkler play. Also, a lovely family Easter celebration. It was a great week! How was yours?

Happy Friday all! Here we are zooming into Easter weekend and I'm excited for some family fun. This week was spring break for local schools, but we kept up our normal schedule. We had planned to take today off and take the kids to Busch Gardens, as a sort of surprise treat, but Mother Nature is sending us some big storms. That plan will have to wait for another day, unfortunately.

Otherwise, our week was busy with the usual school/work activities, plus plumbing repairs (fun, fun). Co-op ends next week, and my kiddos are sad about that. They have truly enjoyed this year! We are looking into various summer activities for them, including drama camps, music lessons, and summer jobs. Hopefully they will find new ways to connect with friends and get creative.
