Happy Friday! I'm coming out of my Thanksgiving food coma and trying to motivate for a full weekend of work. I would much rather lay around watching Christmas movies and eating ginger snaps. Perhaps another cup of coffee will kick my rear in gear...

Anyway, we had a wonderful Thankgiving dinner, graciously hosted again by my sister and brother-in-law. Lots of bellies were filled with amazing treats and lots of happy memories were made. I look forward to it every year.  I hope you had a fantastic holiday as well!

Another week down already! This season has become a blur and it is only getting busier. I have a packed schedule for the next couple of weeks, and I'm afraid I'll blink and it will be Christmas!

This week was mostly work & homeschooling. No adventures or field trips, unfortunately. I just have a few random shots I've taken while waiting on clients at sessions. I am enjoying the fall color, but it isn't quite as vibrant this year as years past. How is your fall going?

Happy Friday! This week has been chilly, windy and very autumnal. I love it! Trying to sneak outside as often as I can to enjoy it. 

Of course, this season brings lots of photo sessions and work, but I took my little cutie out for an impromptu session the other evening. We recently died her hair red with a vegan, semi-permanent, non-chemical dye and she loves it. I think it brings her sass up a notch, lol. She had fun just being a silly kid and I had fun capturing it. I wish I had her spunk, and at least half her energy! I'd take the hair too. :)

We also celebrated hubster's 40th birthday this week!

Happy Friday all! Can you believe it's November?! Ack, the holidays are sneaking up quickly! 

Like most of the U.S., we are currently up to our eyeballs in Halloween candy. So. Much. Sugar. My mom threw an awesome Halloween party for the kids last weekend (thanks Nana!!), and then, of course, they indulged in trick-or-treating on Tuesday. We are in sugar city. At least we have a few weeks to burn it all off before the next holiday feast, right?

Hey there! Happy almost weekend. We've finally had a cool down this week and the leaves are turning. I'm excited that fall is finally here! I have had several weddings this month, so I haven't been out to shoot much otherwise, but I am looking forward to some fall sessions. I love this time of year!

Little Miss got roller skates for Christmas last year. She's finally getting the hang of it. 

I did go out with my girls one chilly evening for a few photos, but that didn't go so well, ha ha. This is what usually happens when I try to photograph my kids these days, sigh. (And don't even ask me what they are wearing.) It was so much easier when they were toddlers.

Happy Friday friends! I hope you have had an awesome week. I apologize for skipping out last week. I worked like crazy all week and then went out of town to shoot a wedding. I ran out of time to get a post up before I left, and wifi was spotty and slow on our road trip. I eventually gave up. I'm sorry. :/

This week I have pics to share from our trip. We went to Charlottesville for a few days and I shot a wedding with a friend there. We thoroughly enjoyed the mountains and the weather was fantastic! We were able to explore Monticello, which we have been wanting to do for many years. We also spent some time exploring the campus at UVA. It was a great trip, I just wish we could have stayed longer. The mountains are SO gorgeous! Here are a few pics from our trip. My kids are super uncooperative with photos these days so no smiling family shots...
