So here's a post that may seem a little off topic for this blog, but I'm filing it under "mom stuff" and reviews.
I have heard good things about natural cleanses from friends and read reviews online and always been a bit curious as to whether they really work or not. The idea that a cleanse is good for the body makes sense, I think. I mean, most of us do, or have a some point, put a bunch of "junk" into our systems through poor diet choices. Or, perhaps just through eating what we think is healthy, but really is coated in chemicals, preservatives and the like. And, since I am a regular mom, who generally struggles with being tired and stressed, the promises of more energy sound fabulous to me.
So, I have agreed to test a product called Colonix, which is a 30 natural cleanse. It involves a specific amount of supplements and water each day for 30 days. I have begun week one and so far can say this:
The stuff does clean you out. And, it doesn't taste all that good. I was a little concerned about cramping or upset stomach, but I have not had any issues there so it does seem to work gently, which is a relief :)
