Happy Friday all! This was a birthday week for us, so we celebrated at the pool last weekend and then at home this week. My big girl is now 12. Not sure how that happened so quickly! A Ukulele was at the top of her list this year. She opened it Wednesday, and has already taught herself a few chords. :)

Other than birthday fun, I spent a gorgeous evening at the beach shooting a surprise proposal on Saturday. It was exciting, but I did wait around for quite a while for my clients to show up. While waiting, I snapped a few photos and some panos, of course.

I have no idea how this year is nearly half over already, but it's June, yay! We enjoyed the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Even though we had scattered storms over several days, we still managed to sneak in some pool time and a yummy cookout with the family.

Happy weekend all! Who's looking forward to a long holiday weekend? I have a few sessions, and a wedding gallery to finish up,  but after Saturday I'm free! I am SO looking forward to some family pool time and a good old fashioned bbq. We've had a ton of rain lately, so hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend.

After church the girls and I headed off to the beach. We made some awesome new friends and played on the shore. It was a bit chilly, but we had a great time anyway.

Here comes the weekend! Even though I don't feel like I accomplished all that much, this week passed by quickly. I have been working on client galleries, but didn't have any sessions last week. We did have a fun visit with my mother-in-law last weekend. It was wonderful to have her here!

Mother's Day was lovely too. Just a quiet, lazy day at home with the family, but so relaxing. How was your week?

Friday Photo Journal - May 11, 2017

Hello friends, and happy Friday! This week was pretty typical: homeschooling, Girl Scouting, working, child-rearing, laundry washing, yada yada. We are winding down the year's activities and getting ready for year-end testing. And summer days!

The puppies recently had a birthday, so my pics this week are all of pooches. The big goofs are now two years old.  Peanut butter popsicles were involved. And a bit of slobber. 

I'll spare you those pics.  :)

Hello my friends,
Happy Friday and Happy Cinco de Mayo to you! Hard to believe we're delving into May already, but here we go! We have had fantastic weather this week and we've been taking walks, riding bikes and playing outdoors. Little Miss loves her Razor 360, which she got for Christmas. She whizzes around on it every day. I kind of wish I had one in my size. ;)  When I was a kid, we had a Big Wheel complete with saddle bag storage and a brake lever. Oh how I loved that thing! What was your favorite toy as a kid?
