Happy weekend all! I sincerely apologize for not posting on Friday. We had a power outage for a while on Thursday. After the storm rolled out and the power was restored, we discovered that our internet connection was not working. It took a couple of days to get the repairs done, so I have been unplugged until now. I have a lot of catching up to do! So, late as it is, here is my Photo Journal Post.

Friday Photo Journal - September 4, 2015

Another crazy week down. It's hard to believe summer is coming to a close. We start school here next week! Later than many, I know. I love summer and feel like I missed most of it this year. I love fall too, but never look forward to winter looming ahead. Better soak up the last warm days while I can! Shooting on the beach this evening the atmosphere felt a little quieter. A little less carefree, random and wild like those summer nights of my youth.

Here's a quick peek at our week. Little Miss was invited to a bday party at one of our favorite local museums. We all enjoyed a fun afternoon exploring.

Happy Friday friends! Last week I promised birthday party pics. The slip and slide was a big hit and the party was tons of fun! Sadly I haven't really had time to edit many personal photos this week. I am trying to crank out another wedding gallery and have come down with a cold and laryngitis. Plus, I'm working on planning our curriculum for the year - we start back after Labor Day!

Friday Photo Journal - August 20, 2015

Happy Friday all! This week is all about birthdays at our house. Two of them for our two youngest. My "baby" is now 5 years old. F.I.V.E. How can it be?! 

Her special day started out with a new outfit, as modeled below, and also included a few gifts, some singing, a family lunch, then more gifts and singing over cotton candy cupcakes. 

Saturday is the big par-tay for her and her brother, who will be 8. We are renting a giant inflatable slip and slide for the kids, much like the one we had two years ago. Yippee! 

Next week's pics are sure to be entertaining. :)

Friday Photo Journal - Photo Link Up - August, 7, 2015

The weekend is upon us! That means this is my Monday, lol. I actually have two weddings this weekend, two family session galleries due out (in addition to the three I just sent) plus two wedding galleries due next week! Gah!!! Don't know if I'll ever sleep. But hey, I managed to remember to post this before the weekend madness kicks in and I actually have photos to share - woot! 

This week was a blur of work and not much else, but I did take some shots of my kiddos playing outside. We're hanging on to summer as long as we can here. I can't believe half the country is back in school already! I am holding out for at least one relaxing beach day this summer.

It could happen...right??
