Game Time - Back to Classics

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

For Valentine's Day I decided to go old school and get the kids some classic games. iPads and iPhones are great, but it's much more fun to connect as a family over a board game or puzzle. We've had lots of fun lately playing Connect Four, Battleship, and Trouble. Even Little Miss likes to get in on the fun. Of course, once she gets her little hands in the mix that usually means "game over."

What's your favorite board game?

What a great idea! My go to gift as a kid for friends were board games (that I knew they lacked from playdate jaunts!)

My all time faves are sorry, parcheesi, and life!

How fun! It's so easy to forget about simple little games like that. Connect 4 was always one of my favs!

Oh how fun- I wonder if we still have ours. I can't remember where we put all our games when we got here. I will have to search today.

We love the old board games too. When Eli gets old enough to really play, it will be fun. Love her sweet curls.

I remember having a set also when I was a kid. Too bad I can't find like this at the store here in our place.
