I Heart Faces April Challenge - Happiness

This month's photo challenge theme over at I heart faces is "happiness." I thought I'd join in the fun and post one of my favorite pics of Little Miss. She's generally quick with a smile, but sometimes these days, at 19 months, she's so enthralled with something that she won't even look at me. When she does turn my way and flash that sweet smile, she just lights up the room! And that definitely makes me happy, especially when I manage to capture it with my camera ;)

Happy Monday all!  I hope you had a great weekend!  We were super busy with soccer, a wedding and a birthday. We're all still exhausted, but it was tons of fun. Here's my line up for Project 366. This week we enjoyed...

 Organizing - this is about as good as it gets for my desk. We are squeezed tightly into this little house and my desk is usually covered with homeschooling work and kid crafts.

Click It Up a Notch - March Contest

 If you have visited here recently, you have seen this photo. I hope I'm not boring you, but this was my favorite capture from March. Lately I have been wanting to focus more on portrait photography, though I enjoy all kinds of subjects, and when I look at this image I feel a connection with her. It's what I love about this picture and what I hope to be able to capture consistently, one day, in all of my portraits.

Happy April 1st!  We had a busy day today celebrating my oldest's 10th birthday (which is actually tomorrow). We had a nice group of kids over, and we let them run wild, pumped them full of sugar and then sent them home ;)  Now that the party is over, I have a minute to revisit bloggy- land and get my SSH post up.
