The other day we had a big summer storm roll through. It knocked down a branch on our street and consequently a power line as well. We were without power for about 5 hours. After boredom set in, the kids found a way to keep cool and have a little fun. This is whatcha call a redneck water park, lol.

Happy Wednesday to you! And a huge thank you to all who voted for my blog in the Circle of Moms Top 25 Photography Blogs contest. I made it in the top 10!!
Haha - looks wonderful! :-D
This looks so fun! When I was a kid, my brother and I used to do the same thing after a good downpour!
They are so creative! Looks like fun even with the power on.
What a wonderful activity to alleviate boredom!! It's exactly what my kids would have done when they were younger :)
Lovely shots as always, Melissa!
Looks like they made the best of what could have been a bad situation and had fun while doing it.
Oh my word- look at all that water & GREEN!!!!! I'm soooooo jealous! I'm living in a furnace at the moment. :)
I can see why you're in the top 10. Those photos are gorgeous! Looks like the kids had a blast!
Redneck or not, that is magic for kids!
