Thursday Show Off Your Shot

Wednesday, October 19, 2011

As one of Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday prompts last week was round, I had fun playing around with shooting bubbles. I set up the kids' bubble machine and I used my zoom lens at 300 mm. I had no bubble solution, so I made some from water and ordinary dish soap. It really was awful stuff as the bubbles popped almost as soon as the machine blew them out. That's why you see all the droplets in the air...from popping bubbles. I was amazed though, that I managed to get a pretty clear reflected image of the backyard behind me. Next time I'll try using a tripod and some better bubble solution. Bubbles are so cool ;)
