Greetings friends, Aloha! I hope you have all had a wonderful week. I've been unpacking, cleaning, reviewing hundreds of backlogged emails and trying to catch up on some sleep...not likely in this house.

While on vacation I had a chance to savor one of my favorite treats, Blue Moon ice cream! If you've never heard of it, that's because it is only available in a small area of the upper mid-west. I had not had it in years. It got me thinking about favorite things that have been discontinued or are no longer available. Like Taco Doritos, the original ones from the 80's, remember those? I loved them. And Old El Paso Smoky Chipoltle Taco Sauce? I used it in lots of recipes, but can't get it any more. Oh yeah, and Wise Crazy Calypso Sweet and Smoky Potato Chips; those were so yummy! But, they are no where to be found around here.

So my question is: Do you remember a favorite product that you can't find anymore?

Oh and, by the way, did you know that today is the anniversary of the day that Hawaii became the 50th state in the U.S.?

New York Seltzer? I remember them being everywhere and then, slowly they disappeared. I am not sure if you can still find them some places, but not the places I shop. Although, when I went to London, I did see them there.

On a visit to Canada, we fell in love with Sprite Ice, which was Sprite with a hint of mint. So refreshing. I've never seen it here in the States and I don't think they sell it in Canada anymore either.

I was on vacation in Europe, and in Holland you can buy french fries at these little stands on the street and they come with this AMAZING sauce called frite (sp?) sauce. My mother is Dutch and she orders it all the time from Holland, it is sooooo good!

When I was a kid McDonalds happy meals came with a little package of cookies. I loved that. Why'd they quit?

Good question: Hmmmm.... I can't think of anything they don't make anymore.

OHHHH... Doritos was trying out this new kind of chip..... it was a "secret" flavor. I think it was hamburger flavor ... OMG.. so bueno!

I've always loved Sugar Babies! They are hard to find but when I do find them, of course, I stock up!
Zero candy bars are a close second......love them; can't find them. Boo hoo!

Great,...now I'm hungry! I miss Count Chocula cereal. I think they still make it but for whatever reason the stores around me don't carry it. Seriously, it's the best cereal ever!

I really really miss Surge. It had such a bad wrap for causing kids to be hyper but it never had that effect on me. I loved the taste of it since I wasn't a huge cola fan.

I know this doesn't sound very enticing, but the only soy milk I like is Vitasoy Original Unsweetened and I can't find it around here anymore.

I also miss the original cinnamon crispies from Taco Bell - not that I eat there much - but the new twists just aren't nearly as good as the old crisps.

Oh yeah, I forgot about those Cinnamon Crispas. I used to love those! I'll have to add them to my list ;P
