Happy weekend to you! I was really hoping to have more family photos edited for this week's post, but the week got away from me...back to homeschooling, client photo sessions, orthodontics appointments...and only 4 days to get it all done. Two more sessions and a wedding to shoot before I dive into next week, which will be even busier. Yep, fall is here!

I did take my girl out in the back yard one day for a mini shoot.  I played around with long exposures, loosely inspired by the work of Francesca Woodman. I'm sure they aren't everyone's cup of tea, but it was exciting and liberating to do something new and creative.
Here are a few of images from that quick session:

What did you shoot this week? Please link up your posts below!

I love these! I don't know how you find the time to do personal shoots for yourself!

WOW! Those are inspiring. I totally hear you on finding something new to try. It can really bring life back to your creative spark. I also completely understand the struggle of the 4 day week. Holy cow these 4 days flew by quickly. I always dread 3 day weekends because I can never relax completely knowing I will pay for it in the days to come.

Hope you have a good weekend my dear friend. Love & hugs!

Love the first one most, because she looks so innocent there! You're courageous for doing the series in black and white:) Thanks for hosting!
