WW- Playing it Cool

Hello friends! I hope you all are having a great week. It's crazy busy around here with wedding prep for this weekend's big event. If you missed my previous posts, my little sister is getting hitched this Saturday and all my kiddos have a part to play. I'm also the maid of honor. I'm so excited for her but running like a chicken with my head cut off to get everyone ready for the big day and get all of my work out of the way so I can enjoy the weekend with family. 

This little picture is all I could manage for today. I'm spending all my time these days editing for other folks and my own pics have been neglected. I promise to share more soon!

Simple Things Sunday - Through A Toddler's Eyes

Happy Sunday friends! It's a gorgeous, sunny, warm fall day here and I'm looking forward to helping my sister with some wedding prep (only 6 more days until she gets hitched!) as well as a fun family photo shoot this afternoon. Before I head out into my busy day, I wanted to share my Simple Things Sunday post.

Simple Things Sunday is all about taking a moment to reflect upon the simple pleasures and simple beauties in life. The little things that make us happy. My simple thing today is taking the time to slow down for a minute and really see the beauty around us. Having a toddler in the house is a great reminder. I love see the world through her eyes...so full of wonder and excitement!

Vintage Edit - Friday Favorite

Hi friends! I'm up to my eyeballs this week in editing so I've been super busy. Having opportunities to work is fantastic, but also makes life a lot more complicated! Blogging has had to take a back burner lately and I miss you all!

WW - Golden Hour Mini Session

The other day I had a quick mini-session with my big girl. I found some gorgeous light and an open field, and for about 8 minutes I was in photographer heaven. Then she was done ;)  I do so hope to get back to this location soon!

Project 366 Rewind - Week 40

Happy Monday all! Life around here has been crazy busy lately, and unfortunately I haven't had as much time for blogging. I'm up to my eye balls in photos to edit from recent shoots, my little sister is getting married in two weeks, yea! All my kids are in the wedding, so we're prepping for that, along with all of our regular activities, homeschooling, etc. So I'm crazy busy, but in a good way.  I'm just having trouble keeping up. ;) Please know I love and miss you all, and I'll do my best to visit you when I can. Things will slow down a bit next month. I think ;)

Here's my rewind from last week:

 I found some lovely fall color.

I captured a happy go lucky puppy.

And a sweet 7 year old.

I took team pics for the buy guy's soccer team.

I ordered some of hubs' most favorite wine, which is only available a few months out of the year.

And I caught Little Miss exploring the great outdoors.

Nurture Photography Autumn Challenge - Green

Now that I'm finally ready to let summer go and embrace fall, the weather here has settled into the 80s for the week. Oh well, at least I can live vicariously through some gorgeous fall photos posted by  my bloggy friends around the web. Today kicks off the Nurture Photography Fall Photo Challenge!  I always find so much inspiration in participating in these seasonal challenges. I just love them!
