Happy weekend friends! Summer is passing by in a blink. July is always hectic with the 4th, lots of family birthdays, and tons of sessions for work. Even though we have packed a lot into the past few weeks, it's still hard to believe it's almost August already, and "Back to School" messages are popping up everywhere!

I know I missed last week - so sorry! My birthday weekend was a whirlwind.  I have pics from our festivities, plus photos from this week's happenings. Hubs treated the family to dinner out on my birthday weekend, and I chose a restaurant we have never tried. Smithfield is a small town only about 30 minutes or so from us, and we headed there for a tasty dinner at Taste of Smithfield. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! Afterwards, we explored the charming downtown area for a bit, and indulged in ice cream from the local ice cream parlor. My extended family also hosted a birthday dinner/pool day that weekend, and it was such a treat! I am so grateful for the time with them.<3 div="" nbsp="">

I was also blessed with some amazing gifts! I have been wanting a film camera for several years, and hubs made that happen this year- yay! My dad and stepmom sent a generous gift certificate to B&H photo for film supplies too. <3 p="">

I also received an amazing gift from Grounds & Hounds from my sweet sister. Grounds & Hounds sells delicious fair trade coffees and gifts that support animal rescue.  "Every Pound Saves a Hound."  How cool is that?! I LOVE my coffee and mugs - amazing quality!! If you are like me, and microwave your coffee several times because you get too busy to drink it fast enough - the insulated tumbler has your name on it! They also offer a coffee subscription so that you never run out of your faves!

My other sweet sis gave me some of my favorite products from BeautyCounter. BeautyCounter offers high quality, clean beauty products as a safer alternative for a healthy lifestyle. If you haven't tried them, I highly recommend that you do! I particularly love their CounterMatch skin care line and the Melting Body Balm - so good!

My mom and stepdad gave me some absolutely beautiful gifts from Trades of Hope, which empowers women to create sustainable businesses worldwide. I love my gifts, and love that my family chose gifts that give back - what could be better than that?

I also received some beautiful handmade gifts from my kids, and many wonderful birthday wishes. It was so humbling!

Ok, enough about my birthday! I really just wanted to share some of those wonderful products with you. I am not an affiliate for any of them and do not receive any kick backs - just sharing a few great products that I love.
In other news - we also celebrated two of my favorite cuties' birthdays - tons of fun, and I took some more beach pics - panos are back. :) I also took lots of film pics, but have not developed them yet. Hopefully I'll have some of those to share soon - unless they are all horrible - which is a distinct possibility.

Hey Friends! Welcome to this edition of I'm Late to My Own Party Again. I know it's Saturday and I've missed the boat. But here I am. I hope your weekend is off to a great start. It's my birthday weekend, so I'm already soaking up some much needed family time and eating way too much good food!

Last week we took a field trip to Jefferson Lab (Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility). If you aren't familiar with it, Jefferson Lab is a U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science national laboratory, which houses a Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF).  It's a place where way smart people do way cool stuff with high tech electronics and matter, and stuff. We had front row seats to some awesome experiments and a hilarious scientist presenter. It was fun!

Also, I shot more beach sessions and our dogs did some modeling. What have you been up to?

Hello friends! I hope you had a wonderful week and a great 4th! We spent the holiday celebrating with family, which was a welcomed break We had planned to go watch the fireworks, but it ended up raining and thundering. Though the show was not cancelled, we decided it best to stay at home. That was a bit disappointing, but all in all it was a great day.

Earlier in the week, I met some clients at a local park for a photo session. When I pulled up, the Ghostbuster mobile was there, along with a DeLorean "Time Machine." That's not something you see everyday, ha! Most of my photos this week are from the 4th.

How was your week?
