Of course, when shooting a toddler you can throw that out the window. They have very distinct ideas about what they will and will not do! Sitting still is generally not high on their to do list, and following your requests? Well, you are better off keeping your mouth shut and wishing really hard. Of course, if it happens to be a toddler that belongs to someone other than you, you may have slightly better luck...for at least a second or two anyway ;)

Each of these is truly amazing but your last is stunning. The cherub face, ringlets, far away look and the reflection in the window - brilliant!

Oh gosh...that 'curl' shot is over the top fantastic! And I love all the light you've captured in your photos too. I need a cute subject like you have :)
ReplyDeleteThese a beautiful! Love her curls! Great use of the light that you do have! We are challenged with light also. One of the things I just did was repaint my living room from dark rust-colored walls to a light beige. It helps a lot!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your beautiful photos! I'll try to remember to stop by on Friday and link up!
Gorgeous photos..
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa, Oh I'm luminously-challenged in my house too. The only window I even have in my kitchen has a porte-chochere from the garage to the back door, and my only good north light is in my dining room, and that is a brick color. But you have captured the light beautifully with all the challenges....I know I say this a bunch, but she is so cute!!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots :-) Great!
