Cruising around Pinterest has inspired me to try my hand at some of the photo tutorials that play off of the holiday lights. Most of my attempts did not come out as I had planned, lol. But, I learned a great deal about light and how to adjust my camera setting for different variations of it in the process of shooting these. Most of my pics ended up in the trash bin, but here are a few of the better ones. They are not fabulous, but I do like the effects and plan to keep trying to perfect the final outcome.

Those are amazing! My favorite is the Custom Bokeh. I wish I knew how to use my DSLR camera to it's full potential. Maybe it should be one of my New Year's resolutions. :-)
