Several weeks ago I was given the opportunity to try out a new green cleaning product. I hate using harsh chemicals in the house, especially with the kids and puppy running around. I generally use plant-based products to tackle most of my household cleaning jobs. I have been happy with most, but have not found one product that works really well on the counters, windows, mirrors, stovetop and fridge, plus furniture including electronics.
Well, of course I was intrigued when I was offered a test product from the makers of The Ultimate Cloth. Ever heard of it? I had not. The Ultimate Cloth is cleaning cloth that uses MiraFiber(TM) Technology and cleans with just water. It is washable, bleachable and chemical free. The company claims that it will "leave a streak free, spot free, lint and dust free shine on all glass and other hard surfaces", and that "a clean cloth will NEVER streak windows, mirrors, or glass - Guaranteed, for 5 years of general use."
So, does it work? I am shocked and thrilled to report that yes it does! I tested it first on my counter tops, which are constantly covered with little sticky fingerprints. I was amazed at how well it cleaned with just a little warm water. I also used it on my glass doors, bathroom mirrors and my husband's precious flat screen TV. This thing is like magic. It cleans like a dream. I just kept rinsing and wringing it out and it worked perfectly.
I can definitely recommend this cleaning cloth with two thumbs up. I will be telling all of my friends and family about it. At six bucks a cloth, can you imagine how much money you can save on cleaners and paper towels with this thing? I was really thrilled with how easy it was to use and how well it works. I love not having to drag cleaning products from room to room, and not having to worry about my toddler getting hurt or sick if he somehow manages to get into my cleaning supplies.
The Ultimate Cloth is a winner in my book. The company is a small family owned business so these are not sold in stores, but you can visit their online store to order one for just $6! If you do try it, please come back and let me know what you think!

Very interesting! We go through a lot of paper towels around here and typically they are used to clean up spills. I'm curious as to how well these cleaning cloths soak up water?

Hi Tammy,
Thanks for your comment! This cloth does seem to soak up water pretty well, but I see it more as a cleaning cloth than a shammie-type towel, or paper towel substitution.
Thanks for stopping by!
